A graduate of the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Peter has been a commercial and nature photographer since 1985. Peter and his wife Debbie have lived in Minnesota, Hawaii and now call Arizona home. Peter brings his skill and creativity along with the desire to learn in order to create exciting images for all to enjoy.
Using 35mm, DSLR and 4X5 formats Peter expresses his vision of the land, animals and plant life in hopes of urging others in their preservation of nature for generations to come. Peter creates images that make you “feel as if you are there”, as a way to bring the viewer closer to nature.
His work has appeared in several publications including Midwest Living, Roughing it Smoothly, Northwest Airlines World Traveler, Country America and Cruising World . Peter published “Itasca Headwaters of the Mississippi River” a book about Itasca State Park, and newly released “Itasca State Park A Visual Journey” DVD.

In November 2015 Peter and Debbie opened Tintype Mercantile at Cat Mountian Station in Tucson, Arizona. Besides Peter’s photography the mercantile carries nature items and other fine products. The store is Located at 2740 S. Kinney Rd. Tucson, Az. 85735
