Tintype Mercantile is now open
in Cat Mountian Station. Why the nameTintype Mercantile you ask? Well, Tintype were an early photographic medium use mainly in the 1860 & 70s. Mercantile simply refers to the trade of goods. In the Old west many General Stores were referred to as the Mercantile.
We opened our door just after Thanksgiving this year. Some of the products that we are offering for sale include hiking sticks and hats, trail snacks, body care lotions, hand made pine needle baskets and assorted dry mixes. Of corse we will be selling Photography as well, From Fine art Wall decor ( mages on canvas, metal, slate, matted and framed) to wall calendars and refrigerator magnets. Our aim is to have something for everyone in our store.
You do not have to be in Tucson in order to shop our store. We have also opened an online version of our store at https://squareup.com/market/peter-hawkins-photography Where you will find many of our products available. I would like to give a big shout out to Square for being a great registerer system and for making our online presence so easy to set up.
So no matter where you are I would love to have you stop by and visit our new venture weather it be in person or online. And as always any comments are welcome it is how we improve our offerings.
